QuickBooks Online - Mapping Classes to MMS Classes


In QuickBooks Online, many organizations categorize transactions using classes. You can also track these classes within the MMS (Membership Management System).


To connect the classes between QuickBooks and the MMS, follow these steps:

1. Create the necessary classes in QuickBooks Online (refer to Intuit's documentation for detailed instructions).

2. Log in to the MMS with admin privileges.

3. Navigate to Membership Billing.

4. Under the Data Export section, click on "Edit Classes".

5. At the bottom of the screen, select "Add New Class".

6. Choose a Product/Service from the QB Item dropdown and enter a name in the Class Name field. It's recommended to use the same class name in the MMS as in QuickBooks to maintain consistency.

7. Press "Submit".

8. Repeat steps 5-7 for each QuickBooks class you need to map to MMS classes.
