Here are the steps on how to add a new subscription plan to your Pippily system in an easy-to-understand way:

  1. Go to your Stripe account at https://dashboard.stripe.com/login.
  2. Click on "Products" from the top menu.
  3. Click on "Add Product" at the top right.
  4. Enter a name and description for your subscription plan.
  5. Upload an image or logo for your plan.
  6. Scroll down and click on "Additional Options."
  7. Open the "Metadata" section.
  8. In the "Key" field, enter "pippily."
  9. In the "Value" field, enter "subscription_store."
  10. Select "Standard" pricing.
  11. Enter the desired price for your plan.
  12. Select "Recurring" to enable auto-renewal at that price.
  13. Choose the billing period (Yearly or Monthly).
  14. (Optional) You can add another price with a different billing period (e.g., Monthly, Weekly, Yearly).
  15. Click "Save."

Once you have followed these steps, your Pippily system will display the new subscription options. Users can select their preferred billing frequency (yearly or monthly) during the community invitation process.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when adding a new subscription plan:

  • The name and description of your subscription plan should be clear and concise.
  • The image or logo should be relevant to your plan and visually appealing.
  • The price of your plan should be competitive and reflect the value of the services you offer.
  • The billing period should be convenient for your users.
  • You can add multiple prices with different billing periods to give your users more options.

I hope this helps!

Please ensure that you include the METADATA for each subscription plan. Failure to do so will result in the plan not appearing on the Pippily subscription page when an invitation is sent.
